Why the wet-out test is crucial
for a secure adhesive bond

Complete wetting of the surface is crucial for optimum adhesion of adhesive tape. Only when the adhesive is evenly distributed and completely covers the surface can maximum contact areas and adhesive strength be achieved. This ensures a permanently secure bond – even in demanding applications.

After selecting the appropriate adhesive tape, we recommend checking the wetting quality of the surface with a wet-out test.
This ensures that the surface is properly prepared and that the adhesive bonds optimally.
